Sectionals Weekend – The Road Starts

Image

The journey that culminates with the NJSIAA Meet of Champions on June 6th starts today with the Sectional Championship. I will be at Hillsborough HS for the Central Jersy Groups 1 & 4 meets and will try to give you information as it comes over the (predicted to be rainy / cool) weekend.

The CJ Grps. 1/4 meets will be underway in about 45 min. There is a steady drizzle  and it is not warm.

The PV, and  HJ were just announced as being postponed until tomorrow (Sat.) morning. Expect other Field events to be similarly canceled for today as the officials check on venues. The Boys TJ has also been postponed for today as well.

We’re getting ready for the National Anthem and then we’ll be underway with the 400m Hurdles. We’re hanging, out of the rain, with the legendary Ed Grant
